Ford Mustang Lithium by Webasto Customized Solutions
Considering the continued electrification of the automobile by nearly every car company, it may only be a matter of time before classic V8-powered performance cars such as the Mustang go fully electric. Ford Performance teamed up with Webasto Customized Solutions to create this unique Mustang “Lithium” concept for the 2019 SEMA show. Instead of a V8, this Mustang features an electric motor powered by a 75 kWh battery pack that generates 900 horsepower and more than 1000 lb-ft of torque. Even more unusual: the electric motor is teamed with a 6-speed manual transmission.
