Mopar Lowliner Concept
Believe it or not, this beautiful piece of mobile artwork started life as a 1968 Dodge D200-Series heavy-duty pickup truck. Mopar designers took the original frame of the rear-wheel-drive truck and transformed it by lengthening the wheelbase and lowering it substantially. A custom air suspension allows for three modes: low, driving height and driving height plus. Covered in a tasty-sounding Candied Delmonico Red and Dairy Cream paint, the lowrider sits on 22 inch wheels — 11 inches wide in the rear for a more aggressive look. The powertrain is a 5.9-liter Cummins diesel showcased via the power-tilt front end.
