Pinnacle Portfolio at RM Sotheby’s

Pinnacle Portfolio Piques Curiosity
Since February 2015 when Sotheby’s bought a 25 percent stake in automobile purveyor RM Auctions, the collector car world has been eagerly awaiting the particular vehicles this partnership would unearth. The RM Sotheby’s auction in Monterey, California, runs from Thursday August 13 to Saturday the 15th and features some stunning sheet metal, starting with the Pinnacle Portfolio. Billed as a “rare collection of automotive distinction,” the Portfolio contains some amazing first editions and last hurrahs, from the first Bugatti Veyron to the last Ferrari Enzo. What follows are highlights from this distinguished collection of classic automobiles that rolled across the auction block on Thursday night.
