Future Shocks
Every year the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance provides a look at some of the most significant, rare, forgotten and obscure automobiles in history. But the Concours also offers a glimpse in the other direction, when on Sunday morning the practice green in front of The Lodge at Pebble Beach becomes a concept car salon. Vehicles on the putting green this year included an eclectic mix of extreme design studies, a couple models that are practically road-ready, some current production cars, and even the 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning Porsche 919 Hybrid.
