For almost 20 years, the Pebble Beach Motoring Classic has represented the kickoff to the annual Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance, one of the most prestigious automotive events in the world. Each year a select group of car collectors gathers just east of Seattle in Kirkland, Washington, with a range of vintage automobiles prepped for the ultimate road trip, destined to arrive just in time for the Concours in Pebble Beach, California. This year there were 19 cars in total, ranging in age from a 1924 Bentley 3-Liter Tourer to the newest car, a sexy 1980 Aston Martin Volante. Here’s a look at some of these elegant cars as they begin their journey to this year’s event in California, which takes place on August 20, 2023.
