Jeep Gladiator: 2020–present
After years of rumors about a Wrangler pickup, Jeep’s Gladiator pickup arrived last year. Even though it shares the looks of the Wrangler four door, Gladiator is more than a Wrangler with a pickup bed. The new truck retains attributes and standout features of Wrangler, including off-road capability, open-top driving, and even the removable doors and folding windshield, but it is also a proper truck with the utility and equipment to match or exceed other midsize trucks. Gladiator has a 285-horsepower V6 engine combined with a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission, and is offered in five trim levels: Sport, Overland, Mojave, Rubicon and High Altitude. For 2021 Jeep added the Gladiator EcoDiesel — a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine producing 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.
