Jeep Grand Cherokee: 2011–2021
Finishing an 11-year run, the current Grand Cherokee was the best-selling Jeep model for both 2019 and 2020. When it debuted for 2011, the Grand Cherokee made big strides with a refined design, a luxurious interior, better on-road handling and increased off-road capability with a choice of three 4 × 4 systems, a new Jeep Selec-Terrain traction management system and a new Jeep Quadra-Lift air suspension. Jeep updated the SUV for 2014 with a shorter grille, revised lights, a larger spoiler to improve aerodynamics and a new tailgate to aid rear visibility. For 2017 the luxurious Grand Cherokee Summit joined the lineup in addition to the Trailhawk — the most off-road-capable Grand Cherokee ever. The next generation of Grand Cherokee arrives this spring with the all-new three-row 2021 Grand Cherokee L.
