It’s National Donut Day!

Today, June 3, is National Donut Day. Commemorated each year on the first Friday in June, this celebration of the tasty treat started in Chicago back in 1938 as a fundraiser for The Salvation Army. Although most folks will honor the day in the traditional way by scarfing a fried delight, driving enthusiasts have a different definition for the donut that usually involves a car rapidly revolving in circles with tires spinning. And in a nod to both types of treats, Nissan has properly combined the edible donut with the tire-smoking kind in this entertaining video. Bon Appetit!
