2022 Ford Bronco Raptor
The 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine of the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor gets mated with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission tuned by Ford Performance, and 4-wheel drive with a 2-speed transfer case that has 4H, 4L and 4A for automatic on-demand engagement. A dual exhaust system includes active-valve technology and four selectable exhaust modes: Normal, Sport, Quiet and Baja. The G.O.A.T. Terrain Management system adds Baja mode with turbo anti-lag calibration for improved performance during high-speed desert running, as well as Tow / Haul mode for a tow rating of 4,500 pounds. Additional upgrades include a Raptor HOSS 4.0 race-ready suspension system, a semi-float Dana 50 Heavy-Duty AdvanTEK rear axle, a Dana 44 Heavy-Duty AdvanTEK front drive unit with upgraded half shafts, and 37-inch all-terrain tires. The upgraded axles increase the track by 8.6 inches compared to the base Bronco, and minimum ground clearance is 13.1 inches. Bronco Raptor is expected to begin arriving at Ford dealerships in summer 2022.
