When Chevrolet introduced the Bolt in 2017, it was the most affordable all-electric vehicle with a range of more than 200 miles. For 2022 Bolt receives styling updates and new features, and it continues to be powered by the same drivetrain as the previous Bolt: an electric motor producing 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque delivered to the front wheels. The 65 kWh lithium-ion battery pack delivers an estimated 259 miles of range. According to Chevrolet, a full charge takes about 7 hours with a Level 2 charger; with standard DC fast charging, 100 miles of range can be added in about 30 minutes.
