Today Ford announced collaborations with three leading off-road aftermarket companies to expand the availability of Ford-approved parts and accessories for the summer launch of the all-new Ford Bronco 2- and 4-door SUVs. At the upcoming Easter Safari event in Moab, Utah, Ford will display custom Bronco builds from RTR Vehicles, ARB 4 x 4 Accessories, and 4 Wheel Parts to showcase equipment and accessories from each company.

Ford has been working with the three off-road specialists to create performance parts for both the new Bronco and Bronco Sport. The parts will be added to the current catalog of Ford-approved accessories including suspension components, lift kits, custom wheels, body parts and driveline performance parts. Ford is also working with other aftermarket companies to create an extensive offering of camping and off-road accessories such as tents, racks, storage solutions and lighting.

“Off-road enthusiasts crave accessories to create their ultimate off-road machines, so we’re accelerating the development of Bronco-specific offerings by working directly with three of the leading suppliers in the 4 X 4 arena to further build out our list of off-road parts and accessories available this summer,” said Jeff Seaman, Ford icons regional product line manager.

When the Bronco Sport launched last fall, Ford already had more than 100 accessories that new owners could add to customize their vehicle. The automaker’s goal is to offer more than 200 Ford-approved items when the Bronco launches this summer. “We’ve brought more companies into the personalization process a lot earlier than in the past to take advantage of the unique design aspects of Bronco and Bronco Sport, all aimed at making customization more accessible to a wider range of off-road enthusiasts,” said Seaman.

Ford has a longtime collaboration with RTR Vehicles founded by Vaughn Gittin Jr. — an accomplished drifter who has piloted a Mustang since 2005 and now competes in off-road racing events in a Bronco race truck. The RTR Vehicles Bronco build is based on a Bronco 4-door Badlands with RTR Rock sliders, RTR rear bumper, and an RTR 3D-printed grille with simulated accent lights.
