Italian Style
A multifaceted jewel in the crown of the Monterey Motoring Week, Concorso Italiano celebrates all things Italian, although the primary focus is a broad array of Italian vehicles. On August 19, nearly one thousand cars lined the fairways of the Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside, California, with acres of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, Alfa Romeos and other marques blanketing the hills overlooking Monterey Bay. The 32nd annual Concorso celebrated the 70th anniversary of Ferrari and the 50th anniversary of the Maserati Ghibli as well. The event also offers a glimpse into elements of Italian style including fashion, food and music, but it’s really all about the cars. Here are some of our personal favorites from this year’s Concorso Italiano.
