Rolls-Royce Phantom Today
In 2018 the eighth generation of Rolls-Royce Phantom debuted, taking the idea of a luxury sedan to the extreme. Easily recognizable as the Rolls-Royce flagship, the current-generation Phantom possesses an imposing presence that is unapologetically elegant; and while there is nothing subtle about this car, at the same time it is extremely refined. Built on a new all-aluminum architecture developed and engineered to incorporate the latest technology, this Phantom is lighter, stiffer and quieter than previous generations. Under the long hood purrs a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 563 horsepower, with a focus on low-end power for smooth, quiet operation. Earlier this year, Rolls-Royce took the wraps off the Phantom Series II, which has a new squared-off grille for a bolder look, further emphasized by a polished horizontal line at the top that links new daytime running lights. Inside, occupants get surrounded by the finest materials available in any automobile, underscored by each of the four doors closing automatically with the touch of a button.
