Latest EV
Cadillac is undergoing a transformation, perhaps the most significant since it was founded in 1902. Every new model coming from GM’s luxury brand will be electric, and by 2030, there will be no gas-powered models in the lineup. Several new electric models have already been announced, and the latest to debut is the 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ. VISTIQ is the third electric Cadillac announced this year and the fifth EV overall.
All-New VISTIQ
“VISTIQ adds another compelling EV to the Cadillac lineup, reinforcing our commitment to an electric future,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. “Our brand now has an EV entry in most luxury segments, offering customers a range of choices, and Cadillac EVs will cover most luxury SUV segments across critical global markets in the next two years.”
Three-Row SUV
No details about the 2026 VISTIQ have been released, but the three-row SUV looks similar in size to the XT6 and carries styling that fits with other EVs in the lineup. The new VISTIQ will slot into the lineup between the LYRIQ and Escalade IQ. With the same “600 E4” badge on the rear worn by the LYRIQ, expect the VISTIQ to be available with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering around 500 horsepower.
Cadillac OPTIQ
It was only a month ago that Cadillac introduced the 2025 OPTIQ. The OPTIQ is designed as an entry-level model in Cadillac’s electric lineup, slotting below the LYRIQ, which was the first Cadillac EV to come to market.
Entry Level
The Cadillac OPTIQ stands out as a small 5-passenger crossover with front-end styling slightly different from the rest of the brand’s EV models.
Cadillac Escalade IQ
Perhaps the biggest news this year – literally – was the debut of an electric version of Cadillac’s most popular model, the full-size Escalade. “Escalade IQ raises the standard just as the original Escalade redefined luxury a quarter-century ago,” said Roth. “This reimagining of an icon marks the next step in Cadillac’s all-electric future.”
Powerful Motors
Cadillac estimates that the Escalade IQ will deliver a 450-mile range along with high-tech features like adaptive air suspension, four-wheel steering, and an 800-volt DC fast charging system that can deliver 100 miles of range in about 10 minutes. Expect up to 750 horsepower delivered to an electric all-wheel drive system, with a 0-60 time estimated to be less than five seconds.
Luxurious Cabin
The Escalade IQ’s cabin carries a high-tech and luxurious vibe, boasting a 55-inch curved LED display, executive seating in the second row, and an available 40-speaker AKG Studio Reference audio system.
Cadillac LYRIQ
The first of the electric vehicles to arrive from Cadillac was the LYRIQ, which came to market last year. LYRIQ is a stylish luxury crossover SUV that starts under $60,000 and is offered in a range of trim levels. Driving range is estimated to be as much as 314 miles with the rear-wheel driver version, and dual-motor all-wheel drive is also available.
Cadillac Celestiq
These three new models will join the LYRIQ, which came to market last year, as well as the ultra-luxurious, hand-built Celestiq that takes Cadillac to a new level with a starting price of $340,000.
