Best-Sellers . . . So Far
The first 11 months of 2016 are in the books, and the last few months of U.S. automotive sales data indicate that the yearly sales growth the country has been experiencing has finally leveled off. Vehicle sales are basically flat — up just 0.04 percent year over year, with November sales up around 4 percent. November looked much better than October, with double-digit percentage gains showing from a number of major brands including Volkswagen, Kia, GMC, Ram, and Subaru — which celebrated its 60th consecutive month of sales growth. General Motors continues to lead all other manufacturers in the U.S. with a 17.2 percent market share, followed by Ford Motor Company, Toyota Motor Sales and Chrysler / FCA group. Here’s a look at the best-selling models in America after the first 11 months of 2016, according to numbers compiled from individual auto manufacturers’ sales reports and goodcarbadcar.net.
