Corvette Stingray Convertible
Following the debut of the 2020 Corvette Stingray Coupe, Chevrolet rolled out the Corvette Stingray Convertible with another Corvette first — a power-retractable hardtop. Thanks to clever engineering, the new convertible retracts the hardtop and stores it within the body, yet the same cargo capacity as the Corvette Coupe remains. The top can be activated at speeds up to 30 mph and can be lowered in 16 seconds, and the glass window behind the seats can be raised or lowered with the top up or down to reduce wind noise. The Corvette Stingray Convertible is currently offered with the same powertrain as the coupe: the LT2 6.2-liter V8 combined with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Starting price for the Corvette Stingray Convertible is $68,495 including freight.
