Comfort and Style
As the oldest RV manufacturer in America, Airstream has earned a solid reputation producing well-built, elegant travel trailers for hitting the high road to adventure without sacrificing the amenities of home. Now Airstream has revealed a trailer created in partnership with Pottery Barn that reflects the PB aesthetic of relaxed, home-centered comfort and style in the all-new Airstream Pottery Barn Special Edition travel trailer.

Perfect Match
“It’s a match that makes sense in many ways,” said Airstream President and CEO Bob Wheeler. “Pottery Barn has this kind of magical ability to shape a space. You see it in their home interiors, where there’s a comfortable, functional beauty to even the smallest spaces. They understand how your home is this canvas where real life happens, and we love how they applied that to the Airstream lifestyle,” Wheeler enthused.

Airstream International
Based on the Airstream International 28-foot travel trailer, the Pottery Barn Special Edition has a rolling, relaxed vibe. This dual-axle trailer can sleep up to four people thanks to a rear bedroom that can be outfitted with a queen-size bed or twin beds. The full kitchen, bathroom and lounging areas are foundational amenities of the International, and this special trailer collaboration features hardware, fixtures and appointments all inspired by best-selling collections from Pottery Barn.

Blank Slate
More than simply an update to an existing Airstream, designers from both Airstream and Pottery Barn viewed this special edition as a blank slate to create something unique that showcases the expertise of both companies. Inspiration came from the Pacific Coast Highway, with colors influenced by ocean and sand to create a particular palette for this serene travel trailer.

“In partnership with Airstream, we were able to build on the comfort of home that Pottery Barn is known for while fueling the sense of adventure and the idea that home is wherever our customers are,” said Pottery Barn President Marta Benson. “In response to consumer demand, we are thrilled to be launching the latest iteration of our successful collaboration, the idyllic Special Edition Travel Trailer, complete with all of the touches of home,” Benson noted.

Clear Pottery Barn Connection
One look inside this special International and it’s clear how well the Pottery Barn treatment adds a distinctively homey touch to the shiny Airstream. In the main living area, the sofa features custom-made ultra-soft materials inspired by the Pottery Barn Big Sur Collection. Overhead storage lockers look straight out of the Pottery Barn catalog, inspired by the brand’s Aubrey furniture collection.

Dinette
Certainly not a typical table found in a travel-trailer — even one as elegant as the Airstream International — the Airstream Pottery Barn Edition features a unique heirloom-quality solid oak table in the dinette inspired by the PB Benchwright Dining Collection. Soft seating surfaces contrast commendably with the table, and both work well with a 16-piece Mason Collection stoneware dinnerware set.

Even the Kitchen Sink
Pottery Barn touches within the Airstream International can even be found in the kitchen sink, which features a matte-black pull-down faucet and a stainless steel flat apron. A solid walnut cutting board doubles as a sink cover.

Bathroom
Additional Pottery Barn touches can be found in the bathroom, which features a round vessel sink with a matte-black faucet; other black accents can be found throughout the bath. A full shower sits across the hall from the bathroom.

Outdoor Table
Airstream and Pottery Barn designers also collaborated to create a convenient mini outdoor table that attaches to the trailer exterior — a first for Airstream. This additional exterior feature creates a space that offers an ideal place for entertaining with food and beverages.
