A New Dawn for Rolls-Royce

Power Beyond Adequate
There was a time when Rolls-Royce simply referred to the power output of its pristine automobiles as “adequate.” The new Dawn boasts more than adequate power. A 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine resided under the long hood, producing 563 horsepower and an amazing 575 lb-ft of torque at just 1500 rpm. That’s enough to move this 5,600-pound automobile to 60 mph in less than five seconds.

  1. Beautiful pictures but what is a “drophead”?? And whose idea was it to put pumpkin-colored seats in such an otherwise glamorous car? Surely there must be some other color that would go better with the blue exterior.

    1. Drop head means a convertible. And actually that color interior looks a lot better in person with a blue exterior. It’s very popular in that color combination in BMW.
