U.S. car sales in 2019 are off pace compared with previous years, so most automakers might be feeling a bit of a squeeze — unless that carmaker happens to be Subaru. The Japan-based brand recently completed its 87th consecutive month of month-over-month sales growth, so to say Subaru is experiencing a bit of a sales rally is a bit of understatement. Making it possible to meet that growing demand for these popular all-wheel-drive models is one of the cleanest and safest assembly plants in the world, and it happens to be located among the cornfields of central Indiana.
