Strong Acceleration, Strong Brakes
Circuito Monteblanco features a long front straight that allows the Vantage to stretch its legs. While there isn’t enough space to reach the Aston’s top speed of 202 mph, I did reach almost 160 mph, and at that speed, the car feels planted and stable. With a very tight right-hand turn at the end of the long straight, hard braking is required to make the turn. Dropping from 160 mph to 30 mph happens quickly with no drama, and I was able to do this repeatedly with no brake fade.
