2021 Jaguar E-PACE
Jaguar updates the exterior design, revises the interior and adds a new Pivi Pro infotainment system for the 2021 E-PACE compact crossover. The E-PACE entered the U.S. market as a 2018 model to complement the midsize F-PACE. Exterior changes for 2021 are subtle, but add to the sporty design with a revised front bumper and new grille with additional detailing.

Design Enhancements
“The new Jaguar E-PACE features a range of design enhancements which further underline its dynamic capabilities as well as delivering a more refined and comfortable cabin,” said Jaguar Design Director Julian Thomson. “Elements include beautiful, contemporary details and seamless integration of the latest convenience technologies across both the interior and exterior. The overall result is a more grown-up feel for the compact performance SUV,” Thomson noted.

Exterior Design
The 2021 E-PACE features a revised lower bumper incorporating a lower opening with a blade running horizontally. The new grille features a mesh design with chrome detailing influenced by the Jaguar heritage logo with Noble Chrome grille tips. The optional Black Exterior Pack adds exterior trim finished in Narvik Black including the grille surround, grille tips, lower bumper intakes, side vents, window surrounds and rear badging. The Jaguar leaper gets added to the side vents in the front fenders.

LED Lighting
The 2021 E-PACE includes standard All-LED headlights and the headlight design features the signature “Double J-blade” daytime running lights. At the rear, LED taillights incorporate the Jaguar chicane graphic.

Interior Updates
Inside, the 2021 Jaguar E-PACE becomes more refined with additional details and enhanced connectivity. The most obvious change is the curved 11.4-inch HD touchscreen in the center stack. The display features chemically strengthened glass with two coatings; one for anti-glare and a second to make it easier to wipe fingerprints from the screen. The revised JaguarDrive gear selector allows easier access to a storage area at the front of the center console for wireless device charging.

Driver Display
Accompanying the center screen of the 2021 Jaguar E-PACE is an available 12.3-inch HD driver’s display that can be completely configured to show digital gauges, infotainment details or the navigation system in full screen.

Additional Details
Driver touch points around the cluster are now wrapped in soft-touch materials, and the knee side contact area is now sculpted. New attention to detail includes metallic rotary dials in the center console and a new steering wheel design influenced by the all-electric I-PACE. The new steering wheel includes hidden-until-lit switches and metal gearshift paddles. The seats add an embossed Jaguar Leaper on the head restraints and tags that proclaim: Est. 1935 Jaguar Coventry.

Pivo Pro Infotainment
The latest Pivi Pro infotainment system in the 2021 Jaguar E-PACE has its own dedicated power source, so the system is ready as soon as the driver slides behind the wheel. Pivi Pro offers a range of advance features with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard. The system can be connected to Microsoft or Google calendars to not only keep schedules available, but automatically add addresses of appointments into the nav system. Pivi Pro is standard on P250 SE and 300 Sport; Pivi, which supports navigation functionality via smartphone using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, is standard on the P250.

Model Lineup
The 2021 Jaguar E-PACE will be offered in three trim levels: P250 AWD, P250 SE and P300 Sport. Starting MSRP for the P250 AWD is $40,995, with the P250 SE at $46,095 and P300 Sport at $49,995. Prices do not include a destination charge.

E-PACE P300 Sport
The E-PACE P300 sport features 20-inch 5-spoke Diamond-turned wheels with Satin Dark Grey accents, the Black Exterior Pack, illuminated Jaguar metal door sill plates, an Ebony Suedecloth headliner and grained leather sport seats.

Under the Hood
The E-PACE P250 AWD and P250 SE are powered by Jaguar’s turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Ingenium engine producing 246 horsepower, combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The all-wheel-drive system automatically distributes torque between the front and rear axles via an electromechanically controlled clutch pack. Driveline Disconnect technology sends power only to the front axle during steady cruising.

E-PACE P300 Sport
The P300 Sport receives mild hybrid technology to boost output to 296 horsepower. Standard Active Driveline AWD not only distributes power between the front and rear axles, it also distributes torque between the rear wheels through two independent, electronically controlled wet-plate clutches at the rear axle.

Ride and Handling
To improve driving dynamics and ride comfort, chassis updates on the 2021 Jaguar E-PACE include new engine mounts and improved front suspension attachment points. Standard JaguarDrive Control allows the driver to chose between Comfort, Eco, Dynamic and Adaptive Surface Response modes to change the steering, transmission and throttle.

Adaptive Dynamics
Standard on P300 Sport and optional on P250 SE as part of the Dynamic Handling Pack, Adaptive Dynamics adjusts damper stiffness based on input from acceleration, steering, throttle and brakes. Available with Adaptive Dynamics is Configurable Dynamics, which allows the driver to set up the vehicle to select personal preferences for throttle mapping, shift points, steering effort and suspension.
