2021 Bentley Bentayga
Incorporating the design language of the third generation Continental GT and the all-new Flying Spur, the 2021 Bentley Bentayga receives a fresh, new look for Bentley’s premier combination of luxury, utility and capability. First introduced in the fall of 2015, Bentayga has been successful in the luxury SUV segment — more than 20,000 have been built since that time — and Bentayga accounted for 45 percent of Bentley’s 2019 global sales.

Exterior Design
The 2021 Bentley Bentayga gets an exterior refresh to incorporate the brand’s new design language. According to Bentley, every panel as well as the front and rear of Bentayga has been restyled for a cleaner more modern look with details inspired by the Continental GT and Flying Spur. At the front, the new matrix grille is larger and more upright, pushing the new LED matrix headlights higher and farther apart. The hood slopes down to the edge of the chrome, and new elliptical headlights are a first for Bentley with a cut-crystal design so they appear to sparkle even when turned off. The front fender vent is longer, and the lower door moldings are revised.

At the Rear
The rear of the Bentayga features more extensive changes with a new tailgate and elliptical taillights similar to the Continental GT. The taillights feature a lattice pattern for a three-dimensional appearance during the welcome animation as well as sweeping turn indicators. The license plate gets moved to the bumper, and the tailgate features Bentley lettering with a longer roof spoiler above. The split sport tailpipes follow the shape of the rear lights. A new 22-inch wheel design is offered in two finishes for a total of five available wheel choices. Two new exterior colors are added: Viridian, a dark metallic green based on the color of the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept car; and Patina, a luxurious off-white.

Under the Hood
The 2021 Bentley Bentayga will first arrive powered by a 4.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged V8 engine producing 542 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. According to Bentley specifications, Bentayga V8 will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds with a top track speed of 180 mph. Bentayga offers up to eight driving modes when equipped with Bentley Drive Dynamics Mode and optional All-Terrain Specification. The driver can choose different dynamics settings to adapt to the surface or road conditions.

Luxurious Interior
The interior of the 2021 Bentley Bentayga features new seats, new trim, more rear-seat legroom and a new infotainment system. The new seats have increased comfort with a more sculpted shape, new foam and new cover designs with available contrast stitching, hand cross stitching or micro piping. Other interior updates include revised door panels, new horizontal door grab handles, a new steering wheel and a new digital instrument cluster.

Interior Refinement
The center stack now incorporates the new infotainment system with 10.9-inch display and high-resolution graphics within the overall Bentley “wings” dashboard design. The traditional twin center vents are replaced by a single sculpted vent with a chrome bezel above the infotainment screen that integrates the Breitling clock. The center console features a long pocket for smaller items and a wireless phone charger in front of the shifter.

New Interior Trims
A new interior trim option is dark tint diamond brushed aluminum, similar to the design of the Bentley Matrix grille. The finish is produced by brushing the aluminum from multiple directions to create a three-dimensional effect. The dark tint diamond brushed aluminum is new for Bentley and offered exclusively for Bentayga. A choice of eight wood veneers are offered, including two straight-grain options that are new for Bentayga: Koa and Crown Cut Walnut. The Mulliner Driving Specification adds a new quilting design.

Digital Dash
The 2021 Bentley Bentayga features a fully digital instrument panel similar to the Continental GT and Flying Spur. The high-resolution screen can be customized by the driver and features real-time lighting effects with animation. The Classic view offers a traditional two-dial design with a speedometer and tachometer. The Expanded view replaces the right dial with maps or media information. My Bentley in-car and remote-connected services are available in Bentayga, including real-time traffic, over-the-air map updates, online music, green light prediction and local hazard information.

Infotainment
Bentayga’s new infotainment system features a bigger, brighter 10.9-inch screen with anti-glare coating and improved touch functionality. Primary content can be access by hard keys beneath the screen or the main menu, and the screen can be customized to show favorites. The navigation system is improved with three-dimensional building display, satellite maps and content in the head-up display with traffic information, street names and distance to destination.

Audio Systems
Bentley Signature Audio is standard for Bentayga with 590 watts of power and 12 speakers. The optional Naim for Bentley delivers 1,780 watts of power through 20 speakers including active bass speakers under both front seats and super tweeters in the A-pillars and B-pillars.

Seating Options
The 2021 Bentley Bentayga offers three seating configurations: a standard five-seat layout; an optional four-seat layout with individual rear seats separated by a center console; and a seven-seat package that adds a third-row seat with a three-position second row. The five passenger receives a new rear seat frame that increases seatback adjustment and optional second-row ventilation previously only available with the four-seat Bentayga.

Touchscreen Remote
Rear-seat passengers receive a new Touch Screen Remote Control Tablet similar to the one introduced in the Flying Spur, along with improved graphics and increased processing power to control functions such as rear-seat heating, massage, media system, navigation, lighting and window blinds.
