Thanks to the plug-in hybrid powertrain, the X3 can now offer excellent efficiency to complement the impressive performance expected of a BMW. Add to this stylish design and a premium interior and the X3 xDrive30e makes a great option in the competitive premium crossover market. With the added benefit of a federal tax credit, the X3 xDrive30e makes a lot more sense than the non-hybrid X3; they cost about the same but the X3 plug-in brings more performance and better fuel efficiency. And for those who are looking to buy American made, the X3 gets manufactured alongside the rest of the BMW X lineup in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
