Toyota RAV4 Prime
The RAV4 Prime gets a tuned version of the standard RAV4 Hybrid’s 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 176 horsepower on its own. However, when combined with the pair of electric motors, total output is a very impressive 302 horsepower. With the ability to accelerate to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds, the RAV4 Prime will be the second-quickest vehicle in the Toyota lineup. But this potent powertrain still delivers efficiency — when fully charged the RAV4 Prime can travel an estimated 39 miles using its electric motors alone, and Toyota expects this new crossover to achieve 90 MPGe. The 2021 RAV4 Prime will arrive in showrooms next summer.
