Nissan Kicks
The all-new 2018 Nissan Kicks debuted at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, joining the Nissan lineup as a new entry crossover alongside Rogue Sport and Rogue. The unique styling adds a sporty flare with a tall crossover stance, bold fender arches, a V-Motion grille, a floating roof, a rising beltline and boomerang-shaped taillights. Kicks design was overseen by Nissan’s Global Design Center in Japan, but the final design is the result of close collaboration between Nissan designers in San Diego, California, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Sporty Crossover
Exterior features include a rear wiper, roof rails and standard Intelligent Auto Headlights with adjustable sensitivity and timing, including twilight and wiper activation. Available features include available LED low-beam headlights with LED accents, fog lights, heated outside mirrors with integrated turn signals and a rear roof spoiler. Seven exterior colors are offered, along with five two-tone combinations: black roof with white, orange or red body color; orange roof with gray body or white roof with blue body.

Economical Power
Kicks is powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC engine with a Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control System rated at 125 horsepower and 115 lb-ft of torque, combined with Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission. The front-wheel-drive Kicks is expected to achieve an EPA fuel-economy rating of 33 mpg combined.

Interior Design and Features
Inside, Kicks offers simple yet sporty design features to satisfy tech-savvy buyers. The dashboard has a simple “Gliding Wing” design with a 7.0-inch color display in the center for the infotainment system, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. The Kicks SR Premium Package includes a new Bose Personal Plus sound system with a pair of lightweight 2.5-inch Bose UltraNearfield neodymium speakers located in the driver’s seat head restraint.

Standard Safety
Automatic Emergency Braking, seven airbags and RearView Monitor are standard on all trim levels. Kicks SV and Kicks SR add Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Intelligent Around View Monitor is available as an option.

Affordable Crossover
The first new Nissan nameplate added in eight years, Kicks brings the total number of crossovers and SUVs in the Nissan lineup to six. Aimed at entry-level buyers, Kicks will be offered in three trim levels: Kicks S, Kicks SV and Kicks SR. Pricing will be announced in the spring closer to launch, and is expected to start at less than $19,000. Kicks should arrive at U.S. Nissan dealerships in June 2018.
