Elantra Eco
Although not currently available, the Elantra Eco will offer a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine teamed with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission; the Eco is scheduled to go on sale in summer 2016. This engine produces 128 horsepower but torque jumps to 156 lb-ft at a very low 1400 rpm. The Eco has not been tested by the EPA; however, Hyundai expects a combined fuel economy rating of 35 mpg when tested.
