BMW 740e iPerformance
Scheduled to arrive in the U.S. market in summer 2016, the 740e iPerformance will be powered by a hybrid drive system that combines a turbocharged 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 326 horsepower. The 740e iPerformance is expected to have a range of 23 miles in all-electric mode, with a top speed of 75 mph. The 7 Series features Carbon Core passenger cell technology with extensive use of carbon fiber reinforced plastic to reduce weight while increasing torsional strength and bending resistance.
