High Speed
There is no doubt — 200 mph is moving pretty fast. A Boeing 747 leaves the ground at lesser speeds. Of course, reaching that magic 200 number in a car requires lots of power, but it also needs to be properly equipped with a transmission, suspension and tires that can handle the stresses of such enormous speeds. There were a surprising number of vehicles on display at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show that claim a top speed of at least 200 mph, with a few that have top speeds closer to 300 mph. And these cars are pretty sexy, too. What follows are the machines in Geneva capable of this impressive feat of speed.
