Chevrolet’s midsize truck offering has a starting price of just $20,055, but if you’re looking for a ride with a bit of style the sticker can easily jump to twice that price. For that higher figure, you get a Crew Cab 4WD Long Bed truck powered by a 305-horsepower V6 engine that can tow up to 7,000 pounds when properly equipped. Looking stylish in black with black-painted wheels shod with all-terrain tires, the Midnight Edition Colorado features Chevrolet’s Z71 off-road suspension package as well as an electronic transfer case for easy shifting between 2WD and 4WD.

The F-150 has retained its crown as the best-selling vehicle in America for more than 30 years, and part of the reason for this truck’s success is the variety available to consumers. Although many folks buy the F-150 purely as a work truck, those who are looking for something a bit nicer may want to upgrade to the top-of-the-line F-150 Limited. Ford refers to the Limited as its “most advanced, luxurious F-150 ever.” Standing out from the crowd with 22-inch polished aluminum wheels, a unique grille, quad-beam LED headlights and “Limited” lettering on the hood, the Limited gets power from the latest EcoBoost engine from Ford. The 3.5-liter V6 produces 365 horsepower, which gives this stylish truck a towing capacity of up to 10,100 pounds.

The interior of the F-150 Limited has the feeling and equipment of a luxury car, complete with heated and cooled Mojave leather seats that feature 10-way power adjustment and multicontour massaging. Even the rear seats are heated. Add a panoramic moonroof, Sony 10-speaker audio system, 360-degree camera system and the latest version of Ford’s communication and entertainment system, SYNC 3. The Limited also comes standard with the latest high-tech safety features and can even be equipped with Active Park Assist.

If you drive up to your favorite restaurant in an $80,000 Mercedes, you might turn some heads, but we think a Ruby Red F-450 Super Duty King Ranch will garner even more attention. Bold is an understatement when it comes to this truck, with its massive grille, dual rear wheels and embossed Super Duty across the hood. Other trappings include LED box lighting, a remote tailgate release, power-folding and power-extending rearview mirrors, and illuminated running boards. Naturally, this truck isn’t just a looker — it is extremely capable. With a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbodiesel under the hood, the F-450 can tow more than 32,000 pounds or haul almost four tons.

The F-450 King Ranch offers plenty of utility, but the interior environment is anything but utilitarian. Unique Mesa Antique Affect leather seats, heated and cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel, pushbutton start, rain-sensing wipers, voice-activated navigation and remote start are all standard equipment on the King Ranch. The F-450 has plenty of storage front and back, as well as 110-volt outlets for easy powering of laptops or other electronics. The F-450 King Ranch can be equipped with adaptive cruise control, which functions even while towing a fully-loaded trailer.

Denali has been the top-level trim of the GMC lineup for many years, and for 2017 the brand adds a Denali version of the midsize Canyon pickup. The Canyon Denali features a unique chrome grille, chrome running boards, polished exhaust tip and distinctive 20-inch bright machined-aluminum wheels — all designed to set it apart from the standard Canyon. The Canyon Denali is available exclusively as a 4-door crew cab with the option of 2WD or 4WD, and with a standard 305-horsepower V6 engine it can tow up to 7,000 pounds when properly equipped. For even more hauling capability, the Canyon Denali will also be available with a 2.8-liter Duramax diesel engine.

The Denali treatment continues inside with premium Jet Black perforated Mulan leather seats that are heated and cooled, as well as a heated steering wheel. The GMC IntelliLink infotainment system with navigation and an 8-inch color touchscreen comes standard, as do Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. The premium interior of the Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate includes an 8-inch-diagonal Customizable Driver Display that shows relevant settings, audio and navigation information in the instrument panel. The center console houses a color touchscreen display as well as a Bose premium audio system. The 12-way power front seats are swathed in soft leather and can be heated or cooled. There’s even a power sunroof and an available rear-seat DVD entertainment system.

Honda introduces an all-new Ridgeline for the 2017 model year, and it brings some unique offerings to the table. Unlike other vehicles on this list, Ridgeline is based on an SUV platform rather than that of a truck. Although this could be limiting for those who have heavy-duty hauling needs, for most consumers the Ridgeline will be more than sufficient. And the Black Edition with its special Black paint, 18-inch black alloy wheels and LED projector headlights will certainly turn heads. Ridgeline also features a lockable trunk in the truck bed as well as a dual-action tailgate. With its 280-horsepower V6 engine, Ridgeline still offers plenty of capability, including a 5,000-pound towing capacity.

The Black Edition continues the theme inside with black leather seats and a black headliner, all nicely accented with red accents as well as red ambient lighting. Ridgeline offers seating for five with plenty of high-end features including a 540-watt audio system. For the ultimate tailgate party, Ridgeline also features a truck-bed audio system with Bluetooth streaming, so revelers can control the music from a smartphone. The new Ridgeline also has plenty of advanced safety features, including a collision mitigation system as well as a road-departure mitigation system.

There’s no denying that the new Nissan Titan XD is a big truck — larger than most half-ton pickups but with the capability of some heavy-duty rigs. And the Platinum Reserve does it with a big, bold style. The Titan XD stands out from the crowd in any trim level, but the Platinum Reserve gets extra attention with its two-tone paint, dark satin chrome-finished grille, signature LED headlights and 20-inch dark chrome wheels. The Platinum Reserve gets premium leather trim, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats and stylish wood trim. The Laramie Limited really shines on the inside, with subtle stitching accents, pinstriping, and unique materials and patterns throughout the interior. The little details really stand out, such as a console designed to conceal a mobile phone behind a new tambour wood sliding door made from Black Argento. This real wood trim can be found throughout the vehicle, which nicely accents the black leather seats and premium Berber carpet inserts.

If you’re looking for a fully capable and very roomy pickup, the heavy-duty Ram 3500 Mega Cab may be the truck for you. As the name implies, this truck features an extended cabin that can easily carry three full-size adults in the rear seat. At more than 20 feet long and more than 6 feet wide, this is a very large machine that offers big-rig capabilities. With almost 9 inches of ground clearance, 4-wheel drive and dual rear wheels, the Ram can handle just about any terrain. The big Ram can also tow more than 30,000 pounds or haul more than 7,000 pounds, so any amount of luggage shouldn’t be an issue.

Although the standard Ram 3500 provides impressive capability, the Laramie Longhorn raises the status of its occupants to another level tanks to the elegant surroundings. Seats are swathed in premium leather with heating and cooling, 10-way power adjustment and power lumbar adjustment as well. Second-row seats are also heated and can be folded flat for additional cargo space; the leather-wrapped steering wheel is heated and has real wood trim. Longhorn Rams also get the latest Uconnect entertainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, a premium audio system, Bluetooth connectivity and voice command.

One of the best-selling midsize trucks in America, Tacoma is all new for the 2016 model year. There are dozens of configurations available, but if you’re looking for the ultimate in comfort without losing any of this popular truck’s utility, the Limited Double Cab is the Tacoma of choice. The Limited stands out from the standard Tacoma with a polished-finish charcoal grille, chrome trim, a color-keyed rear bumper and 18-inch polished alloy wheels. Power comes from a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 278 horsepower. With the optional Tow Prep package, the Tacoma Double Cab can pull up to 6,400 pounds.

The 1794 Edition features a chrome grille and a gunmetal gray lower front bumper as well as 20-inch 6-spoke wheels. With a 5.7-liter V8 engine under the hood, the Tundra CrewMax can tow almost 10,000 pounds.

The 1794 Edition is designed in a western lifestyle theme with exclusive saddle brown premium leather-trimmed seats featuring embossed leather and ultra-suede accents.
